Hello friends!
It's time to share my Guest Design project with you over Paper Smooches.
Today I want to focus on one of the new dies called "Frame 5 Wise Die".

s

I created my two cards with the same die and stamp, but the style and look are quite different.
My first card is all about stamping and embossing.

I Love You, Mom

I sprayed painted the frame with Heidi Swapp Color shine (Creamsicle) and gold embossed half of the frame. I really enjoyed stamping flowers and leaves around the frame.

close-up (I love you mom)
I wanted to keep the design light and airy, so I stamped and clear-embossed the butterflies on vellum. I then fussy cut the vellum butterflies and adhered them to the frame. The dotted details were added with Pico Embellisher (white and gold).

My 2nd card is all about using pattern paper.
you are appreciated
The light kraft paper from Neenah paper really makes design easy. I love the mix of the doily and pattern paper. I strongly encourage you to use your pattern paper stash with kraft card stock.

I would love it if you can leave me some blog love over Paper Smooches
Thank you!

You've "framed" this perfectly. Seriously though, both are as pretty as a picture and so fresh. Lovely card for a Mom or a pal.

Two gorgeous cards! At a first glimpse the second card is not your usual style, but it sure came out fantastic!

Beautiful cards, Virginia. Vellum I sure appreciate your use of vellum it's a great reminder for me. The patterned paper is lovely. That's another "problem" for me...how to use. This is a great example. Thank you.

Beautiful stamping on the first and I just love how you combine the two papers on the frame on the second, so unexpected and lovely.
