Hello friends!
It's time to share my guest design work with you over Paper Smooches (week 3 already!).
This darling die is so fun and whimsical. I love how fun and easy it is to use.

Cute Cluster

My card this week is quite clean and simple.
thank you

Creating a sophisticated CAS card is not as easy as it looks sometimes. I try to minimize the color, element and images. This card is actually my 2nd take. For the colorful piece, I applied the alcohol inks on the backside of the vellum. However, in my first try, the rich purple color was so saturated that it was distorting the image.  So I re-did another piece and was satisfied how the purple ink complimenting the glitter Cuter Cluster die.

Thank You (Close-up)
Lastly, the gold ink splatter really makes the design pop. I actually splashed the gold Wink of Stella over the finished design.  The droplets are tiny, the stake is not as high. So, it's all good :)

thank you (PS)
I would love it if you can leave me some blog love over Paper Smooches.

And now....the winner of my surprise giveaway  (out of 66 comments)

What a lovely card, Virginia, and lovely chance to receive a card and gift from you. I think my favorite on this card: butterflies with silver antennae yet!!! Soon we all will be visited by butterflies; and, although this winter wasn't so bad, the idea of spring is excellent. My daffodils are up about 5 inches so soon their sunny faces will cheer me.

I think your use of vellum is excellent. The softness of the vellum makes each card seem mysterious and lovely.
