Stamping and Pattern Paper

Hello friends!
s
I just want to quickly share a card that I made with the April card kit  from Simon Says Stamp? The stamp set "Birthday Flowers"works perfectly with the embellishments that comes in this kit.
Ding--->Have you tried stamping on pattern paper? If you take a look at your stash,  you might be pleasantly surprised how much you can stamp on the design paper. The easiest thing to do is to choose the light color pattern (see the example below). AND you can also take the inspiration from the colors/patterns/theme from the paper and stamp to your heart's content!

Hello friend

I used my MISTI and did some color stamping with the sentiment.
This card took me very little time as the pattern paper did half of the "work".

I've seen you do this before and have, honestly, been amazed that anyone can do it. I'm terrible at mixing patterns so, though I have a huge patterned paper collection, tend to avoid using it. You seem to just know what works with what...that's quite a gift. This lovely card is just one example.

Beautiful card Virginia, It makes me think of surfboards, sand and waves, don't know why but I think it is just that happy, boho, colorful feeling I get from this design. Love it!
