An Orchid Card with Alcohol Inks

Hello friends!
s
After I made my first card (see here) with the die  Gentle Whisper II
(Penny Black), I simply could not stop. It's funny how some ideas popping up on me while I was running on the treadmill!
Ding---> you can almost always alter the look of the dies! For example, you can add more flowers, leaves, branches...depending on the choice of your dies.

This card shows you how to you can transform a simple design to a sophisticated one. I decided that it is a good idea to have more orchid flowers. The conceptualized design took me a while to complete. This card is truly a labor of love. But I do not mind it a bit... not at all.

Miss you

About this card:
~apply inks over Tiny Dots stencil for the background
~make die cut on a piece of white card stock and several on vellum and glitter paper
~apply assorted alcohol inks (see links) to vellum, let dry
~adhere and assemble, add gold splatter with Wink of Stella (Gold)
~add Diamond Borders (with DCWV glitter paper)

Miss you #2

Believe it or not....I have more ideas about using this Orchid die. I can't wait to share more with you.
Thanks for stopping by!

Although I liked your original card, this one is spectacular. Amazing simply by adding orchids you achieved a truly beautiful card. Vellum is the perfect material because it adds an ethereal quality to the orchids which I believe are beautiful, delicate looking blooms. The spots are spot on.
