Hello friends!
I a popping in to share my VERY colorful project with you.
If you follow me on Instagram, you can see this very card "in action" under "My Story".  😍

The new Hibiscus Bouquet is fast becoming my absolute favorite!

 e

I have been itching to use this stamp with alcohol inks and boy, I am sure glad that I did. I love the vibrant result and how easy it is to create something like this.

you are a blessing #2 (Altenew Hibiscus Bouquet)

The best thing about this stamp set....even though it is a coloring layering stamp, the line-up is easy. AND even if you don't line it up quite right, it gives the artsy and organic look. In my view, it is EFFORTLESS to create a beautiful card with this stamp set, no matter what your stamping level is.

I have created similar cards like this one before and will not go into details about the creative process. All supplies that I used in  this card are listed at the end of this post. One thing I did differently is white-embossing on the non-colored side of vellum. The vibrancy of the alcohol inks
totally came through. I also used the bullet point sides of the Altenew Artist Markers to highlight the center of the hibiscus.

I have one more card with Hibiscus Bouquet to share next week. I hope that you'll come check it out since it is a totally different style from today's card.

Oh my, so beautiful. Did you use vellum? If so, did you smooth around the ink on the vellum? Beautiful, beautiful.

Yes, Harriet, I did use vellum (just edited my post...sorry that I miss that!). No smoothing needed. The vellum was perfect just like any inked paper. Thanks for the comment! :)

The alcohol inks look fabulous. The bit of string around the sentiment is an eye catching design element.

This is a gorgeous card. I'm not sure what you did with the inks. Did you spread them on the vellum; dab them on it; stamp with them?

I do not have many alcohol inks but you are making me want to get some. This card is AMAZING. I love how the inks variegate like they do. It looks stunning on the vellum. I also love the little addition of the ink in the middle of the flowers. STUNNING card!!
