Stamp a Motif (Part 2)

Hello friends!
I am popping in to share Part 2 of "Stamp a Motif".

 Hello Sunshine

You can check out Part 1 Post if you miss seeing it.

Here is a photo of part 1.
HELLO

With the exact same stamps positioned in place in in MISTI,  I stamped in Versamark and white-emboss the entire image in Bristol paper.

I worked on the piece by coloring with Gansai Tambi Watercolor and had a fun time coloring it.
Once dry, I fussy cut out the image. I was being careful and tried not to cut too closely to the image.

This is the result.

I used the colored piece and decorated a white gift bag (purchased from Dollar Store).
As you can tell, I used a complete opposite orientation from the card.

To compliment the design, I stamped more flowers and vines onto the gift bag.
I added some white strings and sequins for extra interest.

same motif, different orientation

I hope this inspire you to try out stamping motif with small-mid size stamps like Hello Sunshine.

Your gift bag is a gift in itself! What a beautiful spray of flowers, and I love that you used the same arrangement as the card! The background stamping and string add so much detail too!

Thank you for the inspiration! I'm so glad that this stamp set is on it's way to me. I was inspired by the first card to make that purchase. Now, I'm really glad ... your embellishment for the gift bag is so lovely.

WOW !!! That card is super stylish and very pretty and as for the gift bag is magnificent, looks like what you see in a posh boutique somewhere and you're created it yourself...that is really cool. Love your work so much and you inspire me so much too. Hugs

I'm in LOVE with that image on the bag. For some reason, facing down makes it look completely different! Adding some extra stamping behind the cut image is just icing on the cake. Fabulous.
