Praying for Strength

Hello friends!
Today is my beloved mother-in-laws funeral. It's been weeks in the planning and we are expecting relatives and friends from near and far. I am sure it's going to be one of the emotional days...

I was not going to post anything for today at first. Then I just made this card the other day and I thought the sentiment is perfect for a day like today.
I can do all thinngs through Christ who gives me strengh

With the following two stamps (Cheerful Cling Stamp, Gifts from Above)

I made this card with the help of MISTI and Distress Oxide.

ss

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strengh#2
I love using this large stamp to create a floral frame.
I can do all thinngs through Christ who gives me strengh#1

Things to remember today: " I Can Do All Things Through Christ who Gives Me Strength."

You can view her obituary here
Reflection: I am grateful for my Mother-in-law's love and that she raised the man of my life.
Our hearts are heavy. However, we are comforted that she is with The Lord.
I pray for fine weather and strength for the day.
Thank you for stopping by!

Losing someone you love is the hardest thing to experience. You're so right, she's in a much better place now. I'll be thinking of you and Dr. John while you remember all the things you loved about this beautiful woman.

Such a beautiful card Virginia and so fitting for me today. My husband lost two aunts this week, two days apart! We live in a close knit community where he grew up with them and their children. I became very close to them all in the past 40 years so it has been a difficult few days for both of us. However, we are comforted knowing they aren't suffering any more.
My heart and prayers are with you and your family still... {{{HUGS}}}

Continuing to hold you, Dr. John and your children in my heart this weekend, Virginia. I feel the depth of your loss and wish I lived closer so I could give you real hugs, offer you strong shoulders to lean on and open ears to listen as you share memories of this remarkable woman. The impact she had - on your lives and others - is powerful. Know that her legacy will live on through those who hold her dear and, especially, through you, who connected so strongly with her! Much love; many hugs (virtual though they may be, do know they're the big, squishy, lean-on-me kind)...Your card is gorgeous and infused with love....

Hugs and prayers at this time. That Bible verse has been close to my heart for years. It really means everything, doesn't it? The card is beautiful.
take care of yourselves and let yourselves mourn. It does help when you know exactly where she is.
