Build-a-Flower Anemone (Take 3)

Hello friends!
I am popping in with a quick post.
You may know that Altenew's releasing Build-a Flower every 15th of each month.
This month's Anemone is simply exquisite.
Previously I made two versions with the set (see here).

For this design, I used only the outline stamp and did some water-coloring. I set out to do some serious masking (not really) and once that was inked up, I used all Altenew Inks for water coloring.

The sentiment is from Altenew Script Word Die
(shop Simon Says Stamp here, shop Altenew here)

Since there are quite a bit of black in this, I balanced it with some small droplets and highlighted the center of each Anemone with Faber-Castell Black Pit Fineliner Pens
Do you like the color contrast? It was truly fun to create this card.

Beautiful. I like how you just used the outline stamp and watercolored.

So far, this one's my favorite of your anemone cards. It actually took my breath away and elicited an involuntary "oh my heart" from me.

I do like the contrast. Actually, I love this card! The colors, the softness of water coloring, everything. I especially like the 'splatters' Your leaf color is exceptional.

This is just lovely Virginia. I have taken advantage of the Altenew Academy's offer for the free class and I chose the water colour class. I have only just begun by watching the videos to get a feel for it but I am looking forward to putting water colours to paper soon.
This is such a beautiful card and looks like a good one to start with where it doesn't have too many layers of colour. A beautiful job on it.

Beautiful watercoloring, Virginia! I love how you created contrast with the colors and your splatters are perfect! Love your sentiment, too!
