The Invaluable Vellum with Alcohol Inks!

Hello friends!
I want to share a card created with this awesome  BUTTERFLY HEART POP Die from Penny Black. It all started with a piece of leftover vellum inked with Alcohol Ink.
I let the piece sit on my crafting area for a long time... weeks!
Until one day, the inspiration hit me and I took out this lovely die and

here we are!
you make my heart smile

Vellum is nearly transparent, and creates this airy and light feel.
With the pop-up butterfly die, using vellum seems like a good idea!

Since the alcohol-ink colors are quite intense in this, I had no trouble gluing it to the white card stock and the glue stayed hidden.

I decided to add some light text background (Script from Penny Black) and splatter.
I think I like how this turned out.

The gold color from Lilac Lane Metallic Sequin Mix really brings out the richness to the overall design.

I love the vellum with the alcohol inks. Since I have seen the magic you do with vellum and alcohol inks, I have not used the yupo paper, but played with inking vellum. I really like the way you added the script very lightly. It looks so pretty with the vellum heart and the sequins and gold splatters are icing on the cake. I also love the way you stage your cards for photographing.

I really like your pretty card. The vellum heart is a gorgeous focal point, but the subtle background of light grey text and gold splatters makes the card truly special. Love it!

Your card is fabulous! Love the inks you used for your focal point. Once I saw your card from the side and realized that there were butterflies cut into the vellum, I really started to drool over your design. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation.
