It's been a long while since I was at a wedding. This trip to our nephew's wedding near Philly was just LOVELY in every way! The ceremony, setting, reception and of course, the food were all feast to the eyes ( and stomach). Thought it would be fun to share some here...
Since the wedding is garden-themed, the neat display of the seating place cards at the reception was such a lovely touch. Can you spot my name?
Our table centrepiece was a tall vase that held different types of fruit at the bottom. Ours were the grape tomatoes.
This was the cocktail fruit before the big meal...and the party favor in my hand. The French Macrons were hand made (is she gifted or what?!) by my uber talented sister-in-law Florence.
She PERFECTED a few types of the flavors (Black Sesame, Chocolate Coffee, Pistachio, Peach, Rose with Raspberry ). These yummy treats were beautifully packaged in these lovely clear containers.
Onto the feast...I had fish fillet with grilled breaded crab meat on top. YUM!
Dr. John had to have his steak and potatoes...they were delicious, as I was told. I was too full to try his!
Last but not least, the CAKE! I had several pieces of them...so yummy!
This is what's on top....the assorted orchid and flowers.
My family and the newly-wed.
Thank you for partaking with me to this fabulous life event. I sincerely wish Grace and Stephen all the best in their bright future together!! xoxo
