Simon Says Stamp Wednnesday Challenge #336

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the   Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

This week the challenge is...

Anything Goes

We are using Clearly Besotted products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some, we love to see them used :)

For my design, I chose to use Scribble Flower Stamp set. This set of stamps may be small, but the possibilities are endless!

I was determined to use EVERY SINGLE stamp from this small 3"x 4" stamp set ($6.99). I took out all my new favorite inks and started to stamp on the rectangle piece that I have....and this is my 100% stamped result.

a little note

I realized that I like the free style stamping! By that, I meant that I was not following the exact lines of the stamps. I purposely did not line up the solids with the outline stamps
This works fabulously since this stamp set is kind of whimsical and fun. The purple flowers were stamped in Hot Mama (Simon Says Stamp) with the Generational Stamping Technique.

The following card is actually my first take with this stamp setIt turned out lovely, but I thought it is a bit on the boring/blah side!?

if friends were flowers...
I love how easy it is to layer the solid and outline stamps to create a flower scene. This set, is definitely is " the little stamp set that could". Whether you are a seasoned stamper or a beginner, this one is a sure to please!

As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
So now it's YOUR turn ! Happy Crafting !!
There are fabulous Give Aways and inspiration from fabulous designers on a daily basis over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog . If you haven't subscribed by email, you may want to do so you don't miss out.
You have until Wed. 8am Eastern Time to join in :-)
I hope you check out the DT's work!  I can't wait to see what you create!!
Thanks for stopping by!

A Floral Card VIDEO-from Start to Finish

Hello friends!
I guess I was on a kick with making videos lately...because I've got another one for you!
Every time I post a video, I want to go hide in a hole...I hope it gets better with time.
Sometimes I don't know how my You Tube video ideas came about, but when I am feeling super inspired, I love to share through videos!

I always tell my kids that "Practice Makes Perfect". So here I am-do things that I preach.
One funny thing I can share with you is that I experienced food poisoning during the taping of this video--no kidding! If you find my voice is not as enthusiastic and a little weak, you know why! I didn't know what was happening at the time when I made this video...I was feeling really tired and nauseous in between each take!! Thankfully, I recovered the next day.

Because I get a little nervous every time I post a video, I change the setting to public view about 3-4 hours before the post goes live. So if you are my You Tube subscribers, you get the preview!

Well, here is my labor of love!

This card gave me the idea of doing a video.
thanks a bunch

The is the card I made in the video.
just for you
I would appreciate that you give a thumbs-up if you find the video helpful in some ways.

By the way, did you see this new Layered Flowers STAMPtember release by Altenew and Simon Says Stamp? Quantities are limited, when they are gone, they are they say.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Gold-dipped Sentiment

Hello friends!
After I made  these two cards for You Tube video and the following hello card,
Word Dies in Two Ways!hello

I was on kick for altering sentiment with a golden touch.
This is the latest from the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit.

All I did was to "dress up" the hello die. I used two shades of pink and then gold-embossed the bottom part.
Pairing it up with the jar journal card (included in this kit) and SRM doily, I added gold Stickles, thread....done.

Wait, I am not is a square card that I gold-stamped and embossed.
Thanks for stopping by!
