Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #368 (2 cards!)

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the "Stencil It" Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

This week's challenge is

We are using Prima products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some, we love to see them used :-)

For my project, I used Prima's 6x6 Paintables and colored it with Peerless watercolors. Here are the fabulous selections of watercolor paper from Prima.

The watercolor piece is so easy to use. I simply cut it out added the Paper Smooches Cute Cluster Wise Die and stamped the sentiment. Done!
you are appreciated

And now with the same Prima Paintable watercolor paper, I created an anniversary card (which I would give to my friend Joe and Linda for their 30th Anniversary). For this card, I used Kuretake Watercolor (36).

Happy Anniversary

The ready-to-paint background was easy to create.  All I had to do was die cutting the butterflies and stamped the sentiment. I added a piece of vellum and strings and sequins. I also applied a few droplets of black watercolor splatter (from the Kuretake).

As you can see, these paper really come in handy for the layering and die cutting purpose. I absolutely love them!

Your anniversary card is especially lovely. Soft and lovely. I especially like the drama of the black dots. Excellent. That Prima paintable paper is very interesting. Vellum...just love the way you choose to use vellum. Lovely cards.
