Hello friends!

This is the card I made yesterday...
I felt like seeing SPRING colors and what  better ways to put it on my card stock with inks!?

This post is prompted by an event that happened to my daughter two days ago.

Stephanie is nearly at the final phase of finishing her PhD in Public Health.

It was a tough day for her at work in the university as she found out what she did in the last two days was "for nothing" (in her own words). 😞

With Stephanie's permission, I am now sharing her Facebook status that recounted the event:

S: Today I was caught in the grad lounge at school having a difficult conversation over Skype. A girl sitting in the lounge left this behind for me. I was so distracted by the call (and tears with no Kleenex within reach) that I didn't even notice until she left. Random acts of kindness can go a long way. Thank you, random person! You made my day!

 I made with one of my favorite Altenew Floral Shadow 
I used my new Altenew Sea Shore Mini Ink

As for the sentiment, I didn't like how I stamped it.....I ended up doing a oval die cut and embossed it in white. The colorful paper was my own watercolor paper with TH Distress Ink Spray.



My own DIY Nuvo Crystal Drops are awesome for embellishments. I just need to remind myself to make bigger droplets on my acetate sheet. Once dry, they look just like enamel dots.
