2nd Take with Flowing Vine Collage

Hello friends!
If you follow me in this blog for a while, you know I can never stop at using a die just once
s
Today's post is another take on the new "Flowing Vine Collage" die from Simon Says Stamp. There are quite a few similar dies like these out there, but this is my first time to own one!

I am going to let the card do the talking...
Merry Christmas

You know it's a good design when you don't need tons of stuff on the card.
This die is perfect for any styles....even a CAS design.

I started out with die-cutting two pieces of card stock (white and Foiled (copper) Paper from DCWV). I slightly offset them and this created such a lovely visual effect. I tried using pattern paper for the cardinal, but somehow it didn't look right. So I swiped the Altenew Ink (Red Cosmos) onto the paper and stamped the bird! I was happy with the inky result.

Here is the card I shared yesterday...with the same die.
I hope this post is helpful to you in determining if this is the type of die that you like.
Merry & Bright Greetings (close-up)

caution: this die can go out of stock any time. Snatch it while it's still available.
Use code "SNOW" to get $5 off. Shop here.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Definitely my favorite. I love Cardinals and this one looks lovely along with this die. Your idea to offset two cuts is excellent.
