Hello friends!
If you are tired of seeing Christmas cards, today's post might just give you, hopefully, some other kind of inspiration.
After making a few projects, I had some pieces of die and sentiment left on my desk. After some thoughts and designing, this is the happy result.
1. dove image doesn't have to be just for Christmas card-making, right? I thought it it fitting to go with the sentiment.
2. what to do with the crooked sentiment? Trim off the edges and make another card that fits.
3. get the color embossing power out: too often we got the colored EP and don't use them enough. This card seems to call for a soft background. I took out the Tiny Dots and Hearts (great background stamp btw) and color-embossed it with WOW embossing powder.
Hope my creative process prompts you to examine your stash with some fresh eyes.

Wonderful use of leftovers. Your card is gorgeous!
Love this card and all your wonderful ideas for those leftover pieces that collect on my crafty space.
Your card is soft and lovely. The 'dove' is wonderful, that's a great die. So many leftovers...excellent hint on using them.
Beautiful use of that dove die, Virginia - so true, not just a Christmas image!!
You've described me perfectly; coloured embossing powder - check; sitting in a drawer, unopened - check; thanks for the inspiration
