Altenew Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

This is my 2nd post of today.

warned: photo-heavy post

Hello friends!
It is the most exciting time over Altenew. This time Altenew is releasing stamps and dies!
If you hop from the talented Tae Eun Yoo's blog, I want to congratulate you for making it here--the last stop from the hop. If you are just starting, no worries, the entire hop list is at the end of this post. You can hop to your heart's content.
So, let's get started, shall we?

My first card is created with a FABULOUS floral set called Perennial Beauty.
s

The hibiscus come in 4 layers !  The matching Perennial Beauty Die cuts perfectly, too.
Altenew_PerrenialBeauty_Virginia#1

I must tell you that this set is one of the easiest color-layering set that I have ever worked with. Due to its shape, the line-up is amazingly simple! I didn't even use the reference guide much and was able to achieve this look!
Altenew_PerrenialBeauty_Virginia#3

I am sure you all know by now that Altenew's Inks are the recipe for these color-layering sets. They are formulated to match however you want. I added a bit of Halftone Stencil in the background and used Gold Foil Card Stock as both compliments the large bloom perfectly.

Altenew_PerrenialBeauty_Virginia#2

My next two cards are from Engineers Rule and matching Dies.
s

Are there any Engineers in your life? I do and I have never used any sets like this one! Now that my son David will be graduating with an Engineering degree from university in May, the timing could not be more prefect.
(edited: David got a full-time job offer with a big auto company when the post went live this morning! Squeal!.... 😊)

Altenew_EngineersRule_Virginia#1

I got the stamp of approval from David and he knowingly approved and smiled at the sentiment! He thought it is very "well-done" ( that considered a high praise from an engineer!!).

Altenew File6

The white-embossed details are absolutely awesome! I gathered all the sentiment and white embossed them on top, then I used Stone Wall Stencil and partially inked up the top.

Altenew_EngineersRule_Virginia#2

From the same set Engineer Rule, I came up with a fun card.

Altenew_EngineerRule_VirginiaLu

You can never go wrong making anything rainbow-themed, right? This set comes with Engineers Rules Die and they are awesome!
Altenew File3

Those little Ninja are just the cutest! I think they will be perfect for making kids cards, too!
s

Last card but certainly not the least....Family Matter  (and Extras )ideal for the special family member in your life. I started out with creating an interesting inked background with the Medallion Layering Stencil A.
Altenew_FamilyMatters_Virginia#1

I then used Layering Stencil B to add Nuvo Embellishment Mousse over it. It was a bit of a mess and somewhat scary (I thought I may ruin the project!). However, once dried,  it looked amazing!
Altenew_FamilyMatters_Virginia#2

For the detailed about this double stencil color-layering technique, I will share my how-to in a few days if you are interested to see how it's done.

Altenew_Family Matters_Virginia #3

I truly had SO much fun with this card! The sentiment is perfect and prominent right in the center and it was so easy to stamp! The card is going to be perfect for my daughter's upcoming birthday in April (shhh....hope she doesn't check my post!).

Prizes: To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to THREE lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew blog by Thursday, March 30th at 11:59 pm EST for a chance to win The winners will be announced on the Altenew blog on Friday, March 31st.

AND, I also get to draw a winner to receive a $30 gift certificate! That means one of the commenters in this post get a chance to win $30!!!

Thank you so much for making it to the end of this post and blog hop!!
Please be sure to leave a comment in each stop along the way for your chance to win $ to shop over Altenew!
