Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #410

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

This week the challenge is...

Tag You Are It

  (create a tag or use a tag in your card)

 We are using Ranger products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some, we love to see them used :-) 

 I just got the latest set of Distress Crayons and was eager to give it a try. 

This new Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Floral  is perfect for making a tag.

With Ranger's Mixed Media Paper, I applied Gesso and distress Crayons on acrylic block and mixed them well. I used my index finger and applied to the flowers (Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Coral) and first, then stems and leaves (with Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio). These crayons are from Set 1, Set 2 and Set 6.



The Gesso and Distress Crayons mixtures dried very quickly. I ran to wash the acrylic blocks and stencil as soon as I finished.  At the end, I thought it would be cool to add some gold. That's when the Ranger Foil Sheet came in handy. Wish a dab of glue (Zig Glue Pen), you can easily apply the gold foil to add the shine. I also used Wink of Stella for the splatter effect. I am pleased how this turned out.
