Mother's Day Card and .....Stamp Those Envelopes!

Hello friends!
Have you done the Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop yet?
As promised, I was going to share how I stamped envelopes.
Using this lovely stamp set "Sending Flowers" does make stamping the envelope a really easy and fun task thing to do. I would not use the word task because it really isn't a chore!
Allow me to share my humbly-stamped envelopes.
I did not go through any trouble or technique because the stamps are doing all the work.
If you like Two-Step Stamping, this set is for you!

See those little dots and flowers? You can decide what colors you want and stamp however you like.

It really is a no brainer! I think this stamp will work fabulously as card-making set as is definitely not just for envelopes!

I thought I would also share a Mother's Day card with Mom and Dad Icon.
What can I say? I am a lazy stamper, so I took the easy way out.
There are only 3 steps involved in this seemingly complicated card.

1. emboss the sentiment in white on vellum
2. color the word MOM with Spectrum Noir Spring Sparkle Pen
3. add a piece of pattern paper underneath and decorate!

That's it! And oh....those little sequins? They are strategically placed to hold and hide the glue between the vellum and the pattern paper. It looks random, but they really are not!

Of course, I stamped all of the envelopes within 30 minutes with MISTI. Once you have the design in mind, the rest is easy!

Have you got some Distress Oxide!?
I am hoping to share my creations with Distress Oxide starting next week.
I hope to get inky with you all here! 😁

Wonderful envelopes! I love this idea. Great for me as I never seem to write straight. :) Love the quick Mom card! A reminder to use my patterned papers!

I love that you decorated the envelopes too! My favorite thing to do is make my own patterned paper with stamps! I really need new inks! I think I'm going to give SSS a try!

I have to admit that I shy away from anything that says "mothers day" as my mother has passed away so long ago and my MIL passed away a couple of years ago. However, I LOVE the envelopes that you created. They are so PRETTY!!
