Hello friends!
Have you done the Altenew Release blog hop yet?
If not, get on the hop and find out what the new release is all about.
You can see the entire release here.
It is my turn to share some projects with you over Altenew.
Super -heavy photo post (sorry!)
This time, I am doing Stamp Focus.
That means I am showcasing a few designs with the same set of stamps and dies.

I am sharing the 3 cards in chronological order. That way, you can truly see my thoughts in the creative process.
card #1

I find that when you first receive a new set of stamps, it's best just to stamp out the images and see what you like about the images. This is always a good idea as a starting point. And that is exactly what I did with card #1.

To create a little WOW factor, I stamped the bee first and then ran the die with a tan embossing mat in my die cut machine. This leaves a dry embossed image around the bee. With the die still in place, I took out Altenew Tropical Green and carefully sponged around it.

The sentiment "hi" from ASL fits right in! I also decided that leaves and stems do not always have to be green and used Rock Collection instead. I think I like it!
Now with Card #2...
With the stems so slender and tall, I thought it would be good idea to create a bouquet.

I didn't try too hard to line up each and every layer...because that is not the point. I want to evoke a rustic and carefree feel in this design.

Once I stamped and made the cue cut pieces, I arranged the stems first and then adjusted the heights of each stems. After that, I arranged the colors and size of each flower accordingly.

The Thicker from The New Day Card Kit are the easiest way to complete this design.
And then there's Card #3
This is when I thought to myself...I need to get a little more creative!

I took out the heart die from Halftone Heart Die Set and use the heart shape as the mask. I chose just two detailed images from the stamp set and stamped around the heart.

The silver embossed flower left a gorgeous shine and served as a great focal point
At the end, I was very temped to add some colors to the dandelion. but I kept it CAS and left it as is... The struggle was real! LOL

So, there you have 3 different takes with one stamp set.
Hope this inspires you to try out stamp set like this...
or better yet, get this set and try it out for yourself.

Beautiful cards! The first one is my favorite... great colors! Love the Wild About You stamps set!
There's something about dandelions I love...just not in my lawn. But they're so sweet and I love how you can blow on them when the seed pods dry up. Unfortunately, that means they land on the aforementioned lawn. Anyway, I love how your cards show the wild nature of them. Also love the colors you've used. Juat beautiful.
Beautiful! Love the silver embossed one!
Your artistry is just amazing, Virginia!
