Hello friends!
Hope you are having a great day so far.
It looks like we are going to have a white Christmas here...
but inside, I am trying to creating with bright colors to lift the spirit.
I made this card over the last weekend.
This is a new rendition with Lavender Swag from Spellbinders.
You can see my previous card post here.
I can't help doing another similar design.... this time, I positioned the focal point on the right upper side. In order to match the colors and my watercolor Lavender Swag, I used Distress Inks to match up the colors of the swag as closely as possible.
This die is so detailed and fancy, I think it's fabulous to create birthday, weddings, anniversary....etc.
I find the colored Wink of Stella (Green)s seem ideal for adding splatter. Not sure if this happens to any of you, buy my Wink of Stella is always full of liquid...which makes it easy to add splatter.
All products I used are listed below for your easy reference and purchase.

Lastly, ( sorry that I am a day late!)
the $20 Altenew Gift Card winner of the Build-a Flower (Carnation) post is....
#19 cm said...
- My grandma, who lived in a small town in northern Alberta, had a flower
garden that quite literally turned heads and brought people down the
street to see its splendid glory. Roses, petunias, poppies...you name
it, she grew it. But the highlight for me: her carnations! Big,
beautiful blooms filled with ever so lovely colour. Your carnation, and
all the other florals you paired it with, reminds me of grandma's green
thumb and her luscious garden. Her vegetable garden was utterly amazing,
too! Miss her; sometimes I wish I were a little girl again...
Hugs~c
If the prize is not claimed by Dec. 20, another winner will be selected.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Absolutely gorgeous Virginia.
Very pretty!!
Wow I love that die and how you are using it Virginia, soooo pretty.
Your lavender swag and heart pairing is absolutely gorgeous, Virginia! A card definitely infused with gratitude! I didn't realize Wink of Stella came in different colours...always a 'new learning' when I visit your blog! AND...oh my stars! I'm beside myself thrilled to be the winner of an Altenew gift certificate! THANK YOU! The Carnation stamp/die are calling my name; I may not have my grandma's green thumb to grow carnations, but I can honour her by putting them on cards!
Hugs~c
What an incredibly beautiful card. You've used the lavender swag to it's best advantage. Love how it appears to hug the sweet heart. The whole design is flawless. My Wink of Stellas, especially the colored ones, are super juicy, too. Hadn't thought of the splatter idea, glad you shared it so I can copy you. Congratulations to cm...know she'll appreciate your, always wonderful, generosity.
Another gorgeous card! Love the pretty colors.
Thank you, Virginia, for the glue used to adhere vellum---such a challenge for me. Your lavender swag die card is lovely. The die is truly excellent...alas I have spent my allocation of funds for 'hobby' stuff. Not sure I understand your reference to wink of stella being full....probably my 'thinking' error. I've never purchased any color wink of stella.
Just love the lavender swag with the heart, Virginia - another great card! Happy holidays, my friend, and all the best in 2018!!
