Man of you mentioned that you adore Sweetest Peas! No wonder!
The Sweetest Peas Stamp set has many captivating outline images.
I love the artsy look of this stamp set. Today's card is my 2nd version from the set.

thank you-001

This time, I tried ink-smooshing after embossing the images in  Altenew's Rose Gold Embossing Powder.   (shop Altenew here, SSS here). All card stock and ink are from Altenew. No special tool required.

thank you-002

For "ink-smooshing", you will need a piece of acetate ( you can use the plastic packaging transparency). I simply applied the wet ink (ink mixed with a few drops of water) onto the flower image and let the water soaking into the paper just a bit. And that is how I did my ink-smooshing.

thank you (2)

Supplies: Volcano Lake Ink Pad, Rose Gold Embossing Powder, Sweetest Peas Stamp & Die Bundle shop Altenew here, shop Simon Says Stamp here, Midnight Violet

One thing I would say about this stamp and die bundle is that you can just get the stamp set.
The cost of dies will set you back $35!!  I fussy cut the following vellum images without any problem and you should be able to handle the fussy cutting, too!

This sweet pea set is my favorite from the release! They're my favorite flower, so I was excited to see the pretty stamp set! Lots of good memories of picking sweet peas in our backyard with my Dad....

Two gorgeous cards, Virginia! Your ink smooshing is beautiful, and I love the sweet peas on vellum! I fussy cut most things to save on cost, it gives me money for other types of dies or more stamps!

Sorry to be a bad blogging friend, it's been a million years since I've stopped by. Our renovation has me so busy! But I had to let you know how pretty your sweet pea card is. Having my own personal little Sweet P makes these all the more special!

How sweet. I’ve never smooshed, but it looks like something I’ll have to try. TFS

Gorgeous cards, love this Sweetest Pea and the ink smooshing technique looks fabulous with this sketchy style of flowers. Love the vellum colored ones too.

Love both cards. The ink smooshed card looks so loose and free-- such a pretty look. The gold embossed vellum card is so elegant!
