I am sharing a fun and simple project with you today.
This is one FABULOUS die (Layered Butterfly from Spellbinders) comes with 3 dies and you can use it independently or layer two or all three!
Caution--only Simon Says Stamp has it in stock. Act FAST! Two one left only!

I used pattern paper and did some quick layering!
To compliment the background, I used Warp Speed Stencil to accentuate the focal point.
The key is to turn the angle of the stencil to create a sense of motion for the butterfly.
The embossing paste does a quick job. Love the result.

The layered butterfly looks so beautiful done in the patterned paper. What a great way to add color to your butterfly. I also absolutely love the silver texture paste with the Warp Stencil. That along with the DMC metallic thread adds an elegsnt touch to your gorgeous card.
