Masking and Die-Cutting

Hello friends!
You know about movie having a spin-off, right?
Well, card-making does that, too!
Definition of Spin-off
1. the distribution by a business to its stockholders of particular assets and especially of stock of another company; also: the new company created by such a distribution
2. a collateral or derived products or effect
3.something that is imitative or derivative of an earlier work, product, or establishment; especially: a television show starring a character popular in a secondary role of an earlier show


I have a few extra vellum pieces from this card I made

and today's post is about using the extra pieces in my own creative way.
Yes, it's spin-off.

I took out the die cut pieces and made a seamless die-cut.
The background stamping was partially masked as well.

Also, I cut out the dies from the white card stock...thus, the entire image is 100% FLAT.
The reason? No reason. I just want to do something different and creative.

Spin-off indeed. So much more clever than what I called, using my leftovers, which sounds like eating a bit of day-old meatloaf. Clever assembly resulting in a nice one-layer card, to boot. So pretty with your masked background.
