My card idea started with the Berry Basket.
I thought not only it make a nice berry basket, it can also be a planter!
So, I went ahead and looked at my stash and this was what I came up with.

I love how easy it is to piece the basket together. So I stamped and colored the images.

I happened to have the scarps from this Watercolor Stripes Cover Plate.
The Iris image was colored with Altenew Artist Markers.

As you can see, I also used the Iris stamp to create a very faint background.
I stamped the sentiment (from Carnation Friends) and found the color green fitting in this.
Remember you have a friend in me

To make the entire design cohesive, I added splatter with Wink of Stella (green).

I hope that you find today's post interesting and inspiring.
Technique Tuesday has a fabulous new release, you can check it out here.

You have outdone yourself with this wonderful card. You took a 'humble' basket, added an Iris to create a beautiful card!

You're really made that diecut look like a terracotta pot. It's perfect for this glorious iris. And your coloring and the Virginia touches, including the stamping on the cardbase, are absolutely fabulous.

What a great idea to make a planter out of the basket. It looks like an iris planted in the basket and is perfect. I know we should focus on the basket die, but I think the iris steals the show. It is a pretty stamp and you have made a gorgeous iris.
