I am happy to share a very sweet bird card today.

This new stamp from Penny Black Peaceful Time is fun and whimsical.
I actually started my design with this intricate die called "Floral Strip".
I thought the dies will look great against the kraft card stock. That's when I knew that I had to use Peaceful Time for my focal point. The bird image has an coordinating die, but I just fussy cut it as it was super easy to do.
The birdie was colored with Distress Oxide with the help of a water brush.
This card was easy and fun to create! I hope that it brings you a smile.

Love the pretty colors of the bird against the Kraft cs, Virginia!! The white borders look great too! Happy Mother's Day!
I love your card. I really like how you used the white die cuts as sort of frames, and then how you made the bird on two layers to focus on the birdie and his beautiful details. So lovely.

The contrast of the white floral strip die on kraft card stock is perfect and goes so well with the sweet little bird. Really like the Distress ink colors you used.

Sweet, sweet birdie card. Beautifully colored and designed perfectly. I enjoyed seeing your children's growth through the years...their smiles never change even though they get taller. Especiallly, love the family photo at the end.
