Pattern Paper Play in Three Creative Ways

Happy 4th of July to my American friends and followers!

Today is also my turn to share projects over Altenew Card Blog.

I have three fun projects to share with one of our brilliant  paper pack "Blushing Blooms".  This April, I did the Altenew "Make & Take" at our ScrapFest here in Ontario, Canada.  I have quite a lot of paper strips leftover from the craft show. I decided that this is a good chance to challenge myself to make good use of the gorgeous paper strips. So here we go!

I am using "Forever in Love Stamp& Die Bundle" for all of the projects. This is a great way to combine stamps, dies and pattern paper to create a set of cards.

First, I used the stripes of paper to create a unique background. Each piece of paper are curated to be matching within each collection. Therefore, it is safe to mix them up.

I adhered the paper strips with Altenew Glue Tape onto a piece of copy paper. I then stamped "Forever in Love" image in Fresh Leaf Crisp Ink.The Sentiment Strips Stamp Set provides the perfect sentiment.

My next card was also created in similar manner as the first. This time, I used the smallest Nesting Labels Die Set to create the sentiment banner. I used Fancy Greetings for this card.

For my 3rd card, I created a one-of-kind paper-weaved background. I stamped the sentiment YOU with Ombre Alpha Stamp Set in Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink.

 This was such a fun card to make. All you need is to start with the criss-cross design and gradually build your pattern.  I also split the floral image to show off the paper-woven background.
