Stamp Focus: Graphic Brushstrokes

Hello friends!
It is my turn to share Stamp Focus with you over Altenew Card Blog.
I am delighted to share 4 creative ways of using this versatile "Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set" from July release. It is such a cool stamp that the more I experiment with it, the more I love it!

My first card is a colorful one with a shaker card element.  To achieve successful inking is to use a stamp positioner such as MISTI. That way, you can stamp repeatedly to get the perfect inking.

I stamped the Graphic Brushstrokes in various colors. For the yellow, I used Vanilla Cream and Honey Drizzle. For the orange, I stamped it in Sunkissed, Orange Cream and Autumn Blaze. I then stamped the green in Volcano and Emerald.

Once I was pleased with the background, I die cut the smallest Nesting Labels Die Set. I then saved the small die and stamped "xoxo" with Sentiment Strips After placing sequins on top, I added acetate with foam tape and placed it over the small label die.  You can make your shaker element as large or small as you like.  For the embellishment, I used Pocketful of Sunshine Enamel Dots.

With the similar approach, my 2nd card is softer and has a bit of added dimension. I stamped the background in Sea Glass, Eastern Sky, Mountain Mist and Volcano Lake. Be mindful when you add each new color. It is helpful to stamp on a piece of scrap paper first before you stamp on the card stock. This way, you can check to see if the colors are nicely blended.

After stamping the background, I took the smallest graphic stamp in this set and applied Antique Silver Embossing Powder.  The sentiment strip was stamped in Grey Denim. I love it when you can use an intricate die to create your own embellishment. In this case, I die cut a piece of vellum from Leaf Cluster Die Set.

For my 3rd card, I created a floral card with "Graphic Brushstrokes".
Here are my process photo:

After stamping the background  (Baby Pink, Iceberg, Lime and Shadow Creek), I white-embossed the floral image from "Forever in Love" Stamp & Die Bundle.

This resulted in a fun and colorful graphic card. With the same colors, I also stamped the borders to make the design more cohesive.

I strongly encourage you to give this Graphic Brushstrokes a try if you love the modern and trendy look!

All sentiment were stamped in Obsidian Pigment Ink. Perfectly black every time!

I also want to point out that "Graphic Brushstrokes" complement beautifully with floral images. Notice how I used it for the sentiment with Pen Sketched Stamp set? I am re-sharing it in case you miss seeing it in the release blog hop.

LOVE the versatility of this set so you've talked me into buying it (plus a couple of other things, lol). You, clearly, had a lot of fun coming up with these awesome cards. Love the shaker and patterned paper idea. Using it as a border is a brilliant idea.
