Happy September, friends!
It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you.
If you arrive from the fabulous Kelly Griglione's blog, you are in the right place.
If not, come on in and join the fun blog hop!
This month's Build-a-Flower is da bomb!
The solid and outline stamps are super easy to line up. I am particularly loving the detailed outline stamp! Once you stamp with one of the flowers, you know you are hooked!

Because the layered stamping was easy, I stamped many flowers in one session and wanted to use them all.
I purposely chose kraft card stock to show off the edges of the flowers. The inlaid die-cutting enhanced overall dimensions.
I die cut the larger flowers and positioned them on the kraft card stock. On top of that, I used foam tape and added more flowers on top.
These extra steps really maximize the number of flowers and minimize the bulk!

My color combo is loosely based on this set of ink, plus the Golden Sunshine Oval Ink (love that set). Let me tell you, these inks make the color-layering a cinch!
I hope that you like my rendition of this Hellebore Build-a-Flower.
I have one more version of this set, be sure to stop by to check it out soon!

can be in so many colours!
Wow, Virginia, what a gorgeous card! Love the beautiful bright flowers & the wonderful design!
I really like the Kraft cardstock for the background as it makes the flowers pop & gives it a whole different look from a white cardstock. I have a Shooting Star Hellebore, also known as the Christmas Rose, in my garden & the delicate pale colours against the dark leaves are so pretty.
Thank you for sharing this lovely card!
I love your bright color choices.
