Hello friends!
Have you played with Distress Ink lately?
I am sharing a bird card that I created with Distress Ink.
I must confess that I have not used Distress Ink for ages ever since Distress Oxide came along.
This time, I chose Distress Ink to color the images because I wanted the smooth and non-chalky colors.

The winter scene calls for a COOL color scheme. In this photo I changed up the background into off white. I thought Distress Ink are great for conveying the wintery mood.

AND it did not disappoint.

I definitely should use Distress Ink more! This is such a great exercise for picking up the old favorites! If you have not touched Distress Ink as of late, then... it's time!

Pretty card! Love that edge detail!
Very pretty Virginia. It's a gorgeous card and the colouring is beautiful.
This is so pretty! And
you have done a wonderful
job with the colouring!
Pretty scene with these birds.
Awesome coloring!! Love the birds :)
Gorgeous coloring on the birds! I love that die cut frame!
Penny Black has the most lovely little birds and you always color them so well. Guess I'll have to get my Distress Inks out, too.
I'm still using my Distress Inks and I still love them and love to see them used. This card is a beautiful use of them! As for the Distress Oxides, sometimes I think I should own them, but mostly I don't, though they do have an interesting look.
The little birds make such a cute card! The Distress ink colors you used are so bright and vibrant. I am starting to use them more than the oxide colors.
so very pretty
