Hello friends!
I am popping in with a fun post about DieCember release from Simon Says Stamp.
I started out with my DIY watercolor paper. With Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers, I created a colorful paper. Once dry, I picked out the colors patch and made the die cut with "Proud of You".

The "Proud of You" Die comes with the backing and that's where I used my black card stock.
One thing that I found after I made the die cut was using the extra pieces from the "o" and "d"!
The little "o" and "d" were to good to be thrown away! I figured that I may as use them as "embellishment"! I was so pleased how they look against the background.
I stamped the Medallion Background (discontinued) in Antique Linen. You can use similar background stamp such as Star Flower.
This card is going to be for my daughter. Stephanie got married this past September and settled nicely into her married life. Recently, she found a new job as a Research Associate at the university in her city. This position was super competitive and we are so proud that she's got it!! Woohoo!
I am also listing a few extra products from this release that caught my eyes.
My card is not part of the blog hop, however, you can still use the code for the FREE pin!
Please know that this "Proud of You " Die are in limited quantity.
If you like it, you have to act fast!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

WOW - just love the bright colours on the die cut sentiment. It's perfect!
This is a super card! Love the background, and the
sentiment is perfect with nice bright colours!
Great background for the colorful sentiment.
I love how you used the black shadow to make it pop! What a special card!
Such a beautiful card this is! I love the soft background, the colorful letters and the black outline to them! Perfect!! <3
You DIY watercolor paper sure is handy, isn't it? And those little negative pieces are spot one (pun intended) for this card. It's beautiful. So glad that Stephanie got a new position and one that was super competitive. But, seeing how bright and eager she is, I'm not surprised she was chosen.
