Spellbinders Blowout Bash Sale and Stamp of the Month

Hello friends! 

I am delighted to share my latest creation with the new Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders.
This month's stamp set is absolutely darling!

Are these penguins adorable? I can't pick a favorite one, but the one with the swimming motion really caught my eye right away. I took out my alcohol inked- paper and came up with the design.

Part of the fun in creating an alcohol -inked background is putting it into part of your design.


I must say that I got lucky with the penguin image as it is a match (with the background) made in heaven!

The trickiest part of this card is fussy-cutting the penguin. This was made easy once I stamped in Versamark AND clear-embossed the penguin image. The paper got strengthened even more and that really helped me to cut out the fine details.
