Stencil Inspiration

Hello friends!
I am popping in with a simple Stenciled card.

The Altenew Chevron Stencil is FREE with every order today (last day!!).
Here is my take on this stencil.

I tend to create a bright and happy stenciled background.
For once, I challenged myself to use softer colors.

It really was fun to take out the inks and start applying those inks.
I don't use any new fancy ink applicators or brushes and they worked just fine.

I inked up the solid image from A Study in Watercolor and also stamped the sentiment on it.

What a lovely background for the Study in Watercolor floral image, love the soft colors you used. The vellum and the metallic thread are lovely touches as well.

Soft and dreamy...that's what I see. Don't often see chevrons in pastels...this is a winner.

What pretty soft colours on the stenciled background Virginia. Makes an awesome background to showcase the focal floral piece.
