Stamp Focus: Mod Vases

It is my turn to share Stamp Focus with you over Altenew Card Blog.

Are you loving the new release yet? I am excited to share some in-depth projects with Mod Vases from yesterday's release. Altenew is well-known for stunning floral stamps and the new Mod Vases are your new must-have for all of your floral designs.

I love that this set offers so many shapes and sizes of vases. The designs and shapes are absolutely modern and trendy! All products used are affiliated listed at the end of the post.

With my projects, I hope that you will see how VASE-rtile this stamp & die bundle is! I am using the lovely complementary Vase Fillers Stamp Set for all of my sample cards.

Let's start with the larger vase in this set. I love the two-tone option (Mountain Mist and Sea Glass) from the stamp set and created a colorful vase.

To take it up a notch, and I stamped one of the fern stamp in Tide Blue (Vase Fillers) onto the vase. I then stamped the fern over the vase. This is the so-called "Stamp-kissing".

You can, however, stamp a floral image directly over the vase and will still achieve the similar result.

 The popped-up flower arrangement look fabulous over the stenciled background (Feeling Dotty Stencil).

My next card is all about the masking. With the coordinating masks from Mod Vases, I applied Silver Stone first and then Sunray, Wisteria and Arctic.

Next, I stamped the flowers over the tall vase and this was easily done thanks to the masks. When stenciling, do take the advantage of the positive AND negative side of the masked stencils. To add some shine, I decided to emboss the the edges of the panel in Antique Silver Embossing Powder. 

 The sentiment from the dainty Framed Thanks Die is perfect for this!

For my 3rd interpretation for the Mod Vases, I created a delicate vase by using the new Ornate Cover Die.

I started out with inking the vase with a gradient of blue. I placed the Ornate Cover die over the vase and ran the vase die through the Mini Blossom Die Cut Machine.Voila! A blue delicate vase was created!

With this intricate vase, I arranged all of my stamped and die cut pieces from Vase Fillers.

For the background, I added vellum over the fern to simulate pressed leaf effect. Isn't this fun?

 As you can see, I can go on and on with the Mod Vase Stamp & Die and Mask Stencils. I have included one extra card that I created for yesterdays' release. The Tartan Background Stamp compliments the stamped floral design so beautifully.
