Get Inky with Altenew Ink

Hello friends!

I don't know about you, but I find that getting inky is so therapeutic.
The other day, I needed to de-stress, so I took out my Altenew Inks and created a very inky card.

Altenew-LineArt Stamp-StarburstCoverDie-Virginia#3

Today's card was created along with this card which I shared with the Altenew 6th Anniversary blog hop.  They are made with the same stamp set "Line Art", but they are quite different.

Currently, Simon Says Stamp has the stamp and die bundle in stock, Altenew has stamps set in stock. I started out with the background by applying ink with a Gel Plate.
wishing you joy today

Once the colors were on paper, I ran Altenew Hand-drawn Tile Stencil over the card.

wishing you

I then moved on to the focal point by stamping with Line Art Stamp.

wishing you joy

There is something satisfying to use solid stamps with fine and detailed lines.
The stamps do all the work for you.

Her are my two cards with Line Art Stamp & Die Bundle.

Both cards made with the Line Art stamps set are lovely. I especially like the soft colors you used. Can't decide which background I like best. Both the Dotted Stsrburst cover die and the Hand Drawn Tile stencil add so much texture to the cards. You are right that getting inky is therapeutic. I am so glad that I can sit in my craft room and create cards that hopefully will help brighten someones day. It helps me as much as the recipient.

You've picked just the right colors to enhace both cards. Loved the first one you made but crazy about the steniling and all the Virginia touches on the newer one.
