Altenew August 2020 Scrapbook Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
I am excited to be part of the Altenew Scrapbook collection Release Blog Hop.
This collection is full of fun, whimsy and beautiful paper and ephemera!
If you arrive from the blog of Bea Valint, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.
You can find all the details and inspiration over Altenew Card Blog.

My first take with the collection is to use the gorgeous paper and ephemera pack.
Altenew-Enjoy The Ride PaperPad-Burlap Texture Die-Blooming Ephemera

I know how much you already love the Burlap Texture Die.
This die does look amazing no matter how you use it. I left most of the die in tact and insert it back into the background.
Altenew-Enjoy The Ride PaperPad-Burlap Texture Die-Blooming Ephemera-002

I love creating some motion with the bike. Therefore,  I added more threads.
Altenew-Enjoy The Ride PaperPad-Burlap Texture Die-Blooming Ephemera-003

To keep the thread from "flying", I added enamel dots.

The paper collection is amazing as it takes all the guess work out as what to match. I really really enjoy using paper pack for this purpose.

The bike ephemera is just icing on the cake!

My 2nd card is nearly the opposite. I made a die cut right through the paper.
Altenew-Enjoy The Ride PaperPad-NatureWithin Stamp-Geo Frame Die (2)

I stamped Beauty Within (another popular stamp set) inside the hexagon. Thanks to Geo Frame Die, you can easily incorporate shapes with your floral design.

The butterfly and sentiment are also part of the ephemera pack.

Noticed the stamped leaves do go rather nicely with the pattern paper? Love that!

ANY way you look at it, you can not go wrong with this paper collection.
Through the hops, I hope you enjoy seeing this awesome collection in full display!
