Multi-color Layering with a Large Cling Stamp

 Hello friends!

I am popping in with a fun post with color-layering.

Not sure if you have tried slapstick/cling stamps, but they are one of the east type to work with.

Penny Black's new release "Autumn Extraordinaire" is here! You will find many awesome Fall cling stamps over Penny Black online shop here.

The reason that I love using cling stamps is that they are often detailed and easy to ink up.

The Rise And Shine Stamp is fairly large and can stick nicely with the stamp positioned such as  MISTI. When using cling stamps, be sure to remove the foam to ensure the proper stamping.

hello -002

When stamping a large image, it is best to plan out the position of your focal point. I started out with the sunflower and then leaves. I add one color at a time and gradually built up the colors.

 hello -001

I then clear-emboss the sunflower and stamped some more with leaves and finally colored the background.

Lastly, about the sentiment, I stamped "Hello" from "Falling Leaves" because the space looks just right for my stamped image.

 hello

It only makes sense to dry-emboss with the Dainty Dasher Die ( available at Scrapbook.com) with the entire image. I highly recommend this shape die as you have probably seen that I used a dozen time this spring and summer.  You can find them over Scrapbook.com HERE
