Hello friends!
I am excited to share a NEW project with Simon Says Stamp Holly Jolly release.
This time, they have come up with new EMBOSSING FOLDER!
Lucky for me to receive one from Simon and here I go again....
I started out by inking up Distress Oxide to the embossing folder first. With Ink Applicators, it was easy to color each daisy individually. It didn't take very long to do this and boy, was it ever fun!
I intended to dry-emboss the surface, however, I inked up the other side by mistake (well, there's no mistake in art, right!?)
Therefore, the surface look de-bossed instead. I thought it has a cool look and decided that I didn't need a do-over.
I then white-embossed the sentiment from an older stamp set called "Kind Flowers" ( sorry that I can't find the link to it). I thought using two of the sentiment would be kind of nice for a change and it worked! As usual, I throw in some gold thread and sequins.... ta-da!
While I was admiring the result, I can't help adding more Perfect Pearl to the flowers.
There are just so much to love about embossing folders, isn't it?
Thanks for stopping by!

I love what you have been doing with embossing folders!!!
What a gorgeous embossing folder!
Love the effect of your "painting" it!
So pretty and you are right, there is no such thing as a mistake in art!!! Thank goodness!!!
Gorgeous. Really like the debossed look. Coloring the individual flowers makes a whole card out of an embossing folder. These new Altenew folders have so much dimension, all you need is the sentiment. Love your color palette! The thread and the sequins add a lovely touch.
Wow! The flowers have such dimension and depth using the folder!! Thank you for this inspiration!
I like the results you achieved with the inking and embossing.
Great color and use.
Beautiful detail with this embossing folder! Love the design!
