Hello friends!
I am popping in to share some messy water-coloring, yes the loose kind of water-coloring. I find that ink-smooshing is perfect for me to manipulate water and watercolors.
In case you are not familiar with ink-smooshing, basically, you take a piece of acetate and inked up paint and water and off you go. Start smooshing....
It is never perfect, and yet it gives just the right amount of organic "artistic flair" that I can not produce. that's the beauty of "ink-smooshing".
For the embellishment, I took out the Lacy Panel and trimmed it to fit the card.

For the sentiment, I used the new Linear Pathway Alpha Solid and Outline Die Bundle with my own inked paper.
Hope you enjoy today's post. Thank you for stopping by!

Beautiful! Love the less structured
look you achieved with the smooshing!
Really like the ink smooshing. Really does look like loose watercolor. The Lacey panel is a wonderful addition to the base of the card and really helps the greeting to stand out.
Beautiful smooshing with the ink and I love the colors! Way to not let the die restrict you!
Ink smooshing always fun, yours so pretty!!
So pretty - I love ink smooshing! Fab idea to use a strip of the die to ground your sentiment!!
Sooooo pretty. You have got this ink smooshing technique down to a science. Gorgeous results.
The PAF sets are so pretty. I like the image stamping to fill the card. Great idea for use of the cover die. I like the use of texture and layers. Fantastic!

Lovely smooshed background for your flowers, Virginia!! Just love the little strip of the diecut too!
So cleverly done Virginia. I keep forgetting to do this technique.
