I hope this post finds you well. I am popping in with a post about altering the look of an intricate die. The Twigtastic Die is used as my example.
I love the look of this intricate die. However, I find it a tad short for my liking since I love making top-folding card. To change it up, I die cut two pieces of dies and stacked them over.
I then stamped the BAF Coral Louise Peony flower and popped it over it. I decide to stamped just the two layered of inks and kept the image simple.
Notice the flower and background are in matching colors? I used Gel Plate with the same ink colors (for the flower) to create the background.
Note: do not be intimidated by Gel Plate. It is such a great and fun tool tool to ink up your paper. Plus, you can use it with many other printing/stenciling techniques.
Today's Take-away: look at your dies and change it up. You can add, extend/shorten the length, stack or use parts of the dies. I hope you like today's share. Here is another example with the same die. I used is as a stencil, too!
