Hello friends!
I have a TWEET card to share today. If you like birds, you will love this Bird of The Wood Set. The bird is rather large and detailed.
With the guide on the package, you can and will be able to achieve gorgeous results. I have seen many variations of colors with this bird and there is not one color combo that I didn't like.
I stamped this card with colors that I thought will go well together. I then took out the the pattern paper and die cut it.
I then tore off part of the rectangle die and left the 2/3 of the rectangle in tact. This creates an illusion that the background has a "invisible frame" about the bird.
I also love how the pattern paper really brings out he deep rich colors of the birds.
The die cutting are perfect and the die-cutting leaves very polished finished design.

AAAAAW! You know I love birds and this is one I adore. Using the patterned paper for the background really adds so much interest and makes you focus on that sweet bird.

Love the bird! Adorable card!
I like the idea for creating the background. It really does create a great framed look.
What a great bird Virginia and what an awesome background giving the impression of a frame
Great card! Love how you created the background for the bird. The patterned paper is perfect and using only part of the rectangle is such a cool idea.
Love your design and that bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am such a sucker for bird stamps- exactly how many does one need in their collection!!!! Always one more....Ha ha ha !
Really pretty!
I was looking at all my patterned paper, wondering how will I ever use all of this...good idea using a small piece to add that extra pop. The bird stamp set is adorable.
