When I saw the beautiful butterfly ephemera and gold thicker, I was inspired to create a backdrop with the embossing folder.

To prepare the background, I used cream cardstock. I then ink-blended 3 colors (yellow, blue and pink) onto the surface. That was the  first step.

The second step is to run the cardstock through dry-embossing folder. The 3rd step, ink up the ridges from the dry-embossed surface.

To make the background look more lively, add some splatter!
