Stamping A Background

 Hello friends!

Spellbinders' August Release is out now. Boy, this month's release has so many collections. I am sharing a project with this gorgeous background Pretty Pine.

Pretty Pine Background Clear Stamp Set is from the Gnome for Christmas Collection. This wonderful background stamp has detailed pinecone, needles, acorn, and leaf designs. It fills an A2 card front and is perfect for a fall or winter look. Approximate Size: 3.50 x 4.22 in./8.90 x 13.20 cm

Here are the categories of the new release if interested.

Seasonal Label MotifsBoo Dance Party, Gnome for Christmas,  Santa Lane Kit, Tinsel TimeWarm Wishes Camper,  Winter WonderlandNew 3D Embossing Folders, New Embellishments
New Glimmer Foil Packs

All Hearts

As always, I love stamping this style of background with Distress Oxide.

All hearts -001

From top to down, you can see that I started with Salvaged PatinaCrushed Olive, Rustic Wilderness, and Cracked Pistachio.

With the Distress Oxide, I like to add a layer of clear-embossing once I finished stamping the background.

all hearts -003

To make the entire design pop, I matted a piece of black cardstock with the help of Nestabilities Dies (Set A and Set B) . I can not recommend these two basic dies enough. They are the arsenal that make designs a stand-out. I hope you enjoy seeing this wintery card in the midst of summer.

The Distress Oxide colors used look really pretty together. You highlight the fact that we don’t have to just use dark greens for the holidays. Lovely card!
