How to Highlight with an Embossing Folder

Hello friends!

For the stamped images, I did the stamping first. I then stenciled and die cut the image. Layering Stencils are a MUST if you like the easy way of adding colors and shades.

For the green leaves, I used Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink Bundle. For the flowers, I used the pink from this set.

Next, I like to point out the background of this card. The white textured embossed image is more prominent thanks to the masking and inking.  Here's the how to: 

1. dry-emboss the iamge as design. 

2. diecut or fussy cut the flower images and use them as mask 

3. cover the Dog Rose and leaves, then start ink-blending the background.

4. add splatter for special effect and interest

I find the white dry-embossed image is such a lovely background with the stamped /die cut images. If you have not tried it, you should definitely give it a try!
