Water Droplet Effect (Spellbinders Monthly Stamp Club)

 Hello friends!

It's time to share Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of The Month with my project.

This month's "Water You Up To?" Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Die set is perfect for making cards, decor, and more. This month also features and adorable matching add-on. The Sending Waves Glimmer Hot Foil/Die Set is a perfect addition to add glimmering sentiments to your projects.

 

 The images from the stamp set are absolutely darling. I realized that the best way to convey the whale-theme, it would be best to add droplets of water.

 For all the images, I colored them with watercolor. For the background, I used Distress Oxide ink and splashed tiny water droplets to the blue.

After that, I added Distress Oxide Paint over. You can also see there are two kinds of splatter.  The jelly fish and seaweed dies are from this month's Small Die of the Month.
