Stamping a Scene

Hello friends!

Today's project is a perfect match of a stamp set and die set. This type of cards are really up my alley. 

This Papertrey Ink stamp set and coordinating die (Window Garden Stamp and Window Garden Die ) have much to offer.

Starting from the background, I inked up one of the tiny flowers to stamp the floral and vines. This really gives the entire card an interesting perspective.

For the window, shutters, flowering can, bird house and pots, I followed the layering guide and stamped a whole bunch.  I then die cut them and arranged all the pieces.

Add a Splash of Colors!

I am back with another project created with Fragrant Flowers Die. This die set is lacy and intricate. I had posted three cards here in my previous post (see here).

Today's rendition is my last one with this lovely die set.

The beauty with working with this type of dies is that you can use any medium and it will all look fabulous. Whether it's Metallic cardstock like this, Alcohol Inks like this and alcohol ink paper like this. 

 I  would say that getting all the supplies is the hardest part $! Other than that, anyone can create a stunner like this.

 

I love that this Fragrant Flowers Die also comes with two rectangular die for the sentiment.

 You can certainly use the rectangular die for a cool background.... now that's another card idea!

Guest Design with Papertrey Ink!

 Hello friends!

Today is a special day for me.... because.....

I’m participating in the Papertrey Ink July Release Instagram hop! Back in 2009, I started to become active in stamping and learned about more and more stamp companies. This month is all about our beloved pups, summertime gardens, balloon bouquet birthdays, gorgeous poppies, and Psalm Reflection! Hop along with us to see all the wonderful inspiration designed by the Design Team and invited guests! 

 

With the poppies stamp and die, I also used the Alluring Bracket Die. One of them is Psalm Reflections Die and Psalm Reflection Stamp Set.

 This die set has beautiful lines and etched floral details. I know you must have a few shape dies by now. But this set is definitely one of a kind!

Obviously, this card is not the same without the Into The Blooms : Poppies Die Set.

This is such a cool set. It's not surprising that the stamp and add-on set are sold out. However, the die is still available. You can consider getting the Ultimate Subscription Bundle and you will not ever have t miss a single set. 

Since the stamp set is rather large, it is easy to cut and trim to size.  I took advantage of and chose the right size and iamge for this partial due cut card.

If you look closely, the top left 's white card stock was left intact. I thought this really gives a great contrast with the back cardstock.

The stencils, obviously, makes this a easy set to add colors.

The first card is all about the beach. I love using these pieces as the scale and colors are in perfect harmony.

The thickers, pattern paper and sequins are all part of the kit.

I popped up the bike as it adds interest and dimensions (foam tape are also included).

The 3rd card is definitely my favorite.
