Let the Sentiment SHINE

Hello friends! 

I am back again to share a project that features Hero Studio Stamp & Cut Set of the Month Subscription.

 Previously, I utilized the small images of the stamps and created a fun and interesting backdrop. 

 

 

This time, I used Spellbinders Lined Corners 3D Embossing Folder for the background.  

  I inked up the embossing folders with (yellow) Distress Oxide (Mustard Seed).

I then added the inked sentiment to the foal point.

 

 In order to add interest, I popped the inked diecut around the sentiment. What do you think?

 This design is simple and yet effective. Hope this project inspires you to use your sentiments.

Sentiment-Focused Design

Hello friends!

I am popping in to share a project that features Hero Studio Stamp & Cut Set of the Month Subscription.

 I utilized the small images of the stamps and created a fun and interesting backdrop.

 

The postal style stamps are simply lovely to play with. I stamped them in various Distress Oxide Ink.

As for the sentiment "FRIEND",  I stamped them in various colors and shades. This can be easily achieved with a stamp positioner like MISTI.

DIY Cassette Tape

 Hey friends! 

Hope July is not too hot for you. It's been quite hot in my neck of the woods these days.  I am back to share Hero Arts Studio Monthly subscription with you. I set out to create my own color pallet. This month's theme is Road Trip.

The classy cassette tape is too good to make just one card! 

  I set out to create my own color pallet to get this unique look. Once I  was happy to use my own paper, I then die cut them all in various sections. 

 

How to create your own paper? 

 I heavily inked up Distress Oxide onto paper and just inked and blended away.

 With the blending of the inks, you get your very own blended colors. These blended colors will make the die more of a stand-out.

Here is my first version with this die set. Life without cassette tapes would have been boring. Back in my youthful days, playing the tapes is a MUST-DO. 

I used the largest panel die to create multiples. 

With the colorful paper, this design sure pops!
