MORE Ways to Use Creative Corner Die

Hello friends!
This is my 2nd post of the day.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰You can find the April Show & Share and winner announcement HERE.
I have been sharing projects with Creative Corner Die.
Today post is another that you do not want to miss!
enjoy -004
Previously, I had shared a few cards with this die.

Today I am pairing it up with the Lovely Lilac.
HB, lovely lady

It's hard to see that Creative Corner Die can be used as a "fence"-like border.
However, with a little creativity, it does work quite nicely in this design.

I used just part of the Creative Corner Die.
By altering the look of the die, I saved a few negative die-cut pieces back to the "fence".

lovely lday

As you can see, I also incorporated Generational Stamping in this design.
This technique is an oldie but a goodie.
Back in my very early stamping days (circa 1998), I discovered Generational Stamping.
Basically, you are stamping layers (light, medium and heavy) and layers of images.

It is a very therapeutic and relaxing process. If you have not tried it, you totally should.
๐Ÿ˜€ Last but not least, I am honored to have a special feature with my recent projects (Secret Garden release) over Penny Black Blog.

If you can stop by to check it out HERE and comment,  it would be much appreciated!
Scrapbook. com has the most Penny Black selections and continues to ship regularly.

Create LAYERS, Not Bulk

Hello friends!
Hope you are keeping well and healthy.
Before I share today's card, I like to point out that I do share a snippets of life via Instagram.
Since Dr. John is life long friend of Lego, I used a lot of Lego for My Story.
You can find "Lego Life" under the highlights along with my cooking and baking. See HERE.
I have been on a kick with this Penny Black Die called Creative Corner.

If I am every stuck in an island, this is the kind of die that I would take with me.
It may look simple, but the die proves to be quite invaluable.
may your day bloom with happiness

For today's card, I used the Creative Corner.  as a stencil.
For the area that I wanted to cover, I applied inks and adjust the "stencil" as I applied ink.
may your day-001

You can make it as big/small as you want because you can move the stencil around.
Really, a little die like this goes a long way!
May your day

I'd admit.... I am cheap thrifty. My preference is NOT to spend money on getting masking paper.
I am pretty sure they work beautifully.  Copy paper, acetate, vellum can be used as masking paper.
I used address label paper.  They really work great for me.
may your day-002

I added a few die cuts and focal points for the rest of the design. Please refer the products in my following links. Here are a few other cards I shared previously.

Hope you enjoy today's post. I have MORE to share about  Creative Corner.

Mini Delight: Bold Bloom Release Instagram Hop

Hello friends!
I’m joining a fun Instagram Hop with Altenew today! You can find my Instagram HERE.
We are celebrating the release of Altenew’s Mini Delight: Bold Bloom Set! In case you didn’t know, this is a monthly release of a 2x3 stamp set with a coordinating die/die set. Do not underestimate the beauty and versatility of these “small but terrific” sets! They definitely pack a punch and can be used in any kind of handmade project. Feel free to start the hop over at @altenewllc!

For my project, I decided to gold-emboss this lovely image.

First, I stamped and embossed one, then I flipped to the other side and repeat.
This "embellishment" was then colored with Watercolor-brush markers.

As for the background, I used Bursting Dahlia Stencil
and inked it up with Sea Shore Oval Ink heavily.

PRIZES: Leave a comment on each stop on the Instagram Hop for a chance to win one of 5 $20 gift cards to Altenew. Winners will be chosen randomly from the comments left on each participating designer’s post. Remember to leave a comment in the IG photo here, so you are eligible!

Use an Everyday Object Die

Happy Sunday, friends!

I am popping in with a card that has a everyday object.
Introducing.... the bench from Penny Black's Secret Garden release.
You might be wondering...what can you do with a die like that?
Well, a lot, actually.
The Bench Die can serve as a foreground to a scenery. You can stamp sentiment on the bench or even personalize the bench with pattern paper. You can add critters around/behind/over it...
have a wonderful birthday

AND this die also makes a fabulous "Miss You" or "Thinking of You" cards
because the bench is....well, empty!
Have a wonderful birthday -002

I paired this bench up with Exquisite Envelope and Die.

For good measures, I also stamped an image from Country Charisma with Evergreen Bough.
I used my limited supplies of Zig Clean Markers for all the coloring.

have a wonderful birthday -003

I have a few more cards like today's and I hope this keep your interest piqued!
Please stay home and keep healthy wherever you live. If you do have to go out, please practice social-distancing and wear mask and gloves (if you have any).

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Three Creative Ways of Using "Pretty Fence Die"

Hello friends!
I am delighted to be back to share another Pretty Fence creation.
Let's start with a little trip down the memory lane.
many thanks -004

I am starting my two first fence creations as Level 1. You see a Pretty Fence , right?
Well, a fence die is not just a pretty fence!
thank you (2)

I then came up with another card with fence-inspired background.
This is my Level 2 .
thank you -001

As for today's card?
I kicked it up another notch and I now consider it as Level 3.
very thankful for you

With the interwoven die ( much like Level 2 card), I made it slightly larger and ran a circle die over.
The following photo gives you a clear picture of this process.
very thankful for you

With that extra step, I was able to create another intricate element for my design.

very thankful

I then ran the Stitched Circle Die with the tan embossing mat. This imprint looks pretty awesome.
I then popped the Pretty Fence circle over.
v ery thankful for you

The stamped and die cut floral image with Country Charisma was adhered next to the circle.
very thankful for you -001

It truly is satisfying to use dies like Pretty Fence in three creative ways.
After all, it is an investment and you want to maximize the use, and fun, right? now has all the Penny Black "Secret Garden" release in stock and they are shipping. Please feel free to click the links below for your reference.

Layering Cover Dies-Dog Rose Panel Die

Hello friends!
Hope you are doing well.

I am popping in to share one of the dies from this release.
The Dog Rose Cover Die is absolutely gorgeous!
This die set as set A and Set B. You can use them separately or together.
Lucky for me to have both dies and here is what I created.

card without sentiment

By examining the dies first, I  then traced the outlines with a pencil.
I then decided on colors that I would use and started inked up with each small section.
card without sentiment -001

After inking up each section, I applied the gold foil paper as the outline.
The black droplets for the flower center was done with the Crystal Drops.
card without a sentiment
I was quite happy with the result and left it as is without a sentiment.
If you are interested in this dies, grab them fast before they are sold out again.
