Use an Intricate Stamp with Pattern Paper

 Hello friends!

I am popping in with a post on using Fragile Foliage Stamp & Die Bundle from Altenew.

When this set was first released, I was loving it and didn't think I used it enough, especially with the coordinating die..... So, here I am!

thinking of you -001

I have an unusual way of using pattern paper with this stamp set. This is my first time using the intricate coordinating die. If you like delicate stamps like this, you must then get the coordinating die! There is NO way you can fussy cut.  Not all coordinating die is worth getting, but this one definitely is worth it.

thinking of you

I am actually quite proud of the "hills". They are the leftover pieces from die-cutting the trees! It totally makes sense to make good use with the pattern paper. This tree scene reminds me of the time when we traveled to visit The Leaning Tower of Pisa southern Italy.

 thinking of you -002

It also reminds me of Parsley! It's funny how these images evoke our feelings and memories.

Oh, on the last note, the star of this card is... that Sphere Stencil. Yup, it's a goodie!

Falling for Fall Foliage

Hello friends!

I am on a roll for the Fall Foliage scene and products. I am back with another fall card that I made this past weekend.

Fall Foliage
This smaller set of dies is part of the new release "Autumn Extraordinaire" from Penny Black.
It comes with 4 dies: two large leaves and its own matching stems.hello autumn

For the price point and design, it's a win! I had so much much putting together today's card. hello autumn -003

I started out with dry-embossing the card stock with Stitches of Love. This die set comes in many sizes and various edges of border designs. I love it and use it all year round.

hello autumn -005

From the colors of this card, you truly see the splendor of Fall.  I started out with the new to me Karin Brush Markers.  By applying all the fall colors (nearly every markers from this Pro Flower set)
on watercolor paper. Once dry, I die cut all the pieces.
This Pro Flower setsare limited in stock. Be sure to get it over SSS if you are interested.

hello autumn -001

I do not own the biggest set. I tried out with this Pro Flower set. However, it is currently sold out over Simon Says Stamp. If you don't own any watercolor markers, Karin BrushMarkers
is definitely one to be considered.
hello autumn -006

This card was so fun and easy to create! And the result is not too shabby, either!

ps: Simon Says Stamp has limited Fall Foliage in stock right now. Act soon if you are interested.

An Extra-ordinary Wreath

Hello friends!

Hope your day is going well! I am loving the beginning of Fall season and can't quite stop playing with leaves and wreaths. Today's creation is a little extra-ordinary....

As I was creating the following card. I noticed the delicate coordinating wreath.

(the upper wreath from Harvest Wishes)

harvest wishes

I decided to try using the Harvest Wreath Die only as a frame.  After playing with the dies and stamps a bit, this is the result.

so thankful -002
I actually die cut the frame and then fit it into the white card stock. I did the inlaid die-cutting here because I wanted to keep the layering to minimum.so thankful

The Falling Leaves Cut Out are currently in limited in stock over Simon Says Stamp. I die cut the colorful leaves from my DIY paper with Zig Markers (listed below). The sentiment is from "Wagonful" Stamp Set. so thankful -003

I love the gold of the wreath and used the leaves as a embellishments. The wreath die is more than a coordinating die. You can use however you see fit...and that's what I did here.so thankful -001
What do you think?  To me, this is kind of extra-ordinary wreath. I hope that this post inspires you to look at your supplies with a different perspective! I am listing all the stamps and die that I will be featuring in coming weeks.

Currently...
Simon Says Stamp's into the last week of STAMPtember. Be sure to check out the new stamps.

The next projects combines the Large Die and the Monthly Card Kit. I wanted to create a birthday card that's suitable for teens or/and males! This is what I came up with.

Large Die

There is an add-on stamp set for the Large Die. You see the textures on the cake? That was stamped!DSC_0041

I love using the ephemera from the card kit because they set the theme and style for the card.

Also, it's super fast to add the pieces for a quick finish.Large Die (Virginia Lu) - Copy

Here are the TWO versions from the same Large Die.large die -001
