Hello friends!
I am delighted to share a new project that I created over the weekend. It was a fun and happy process. I love it when stamping take me to the happy place....
The new
Penny Black Trailing Stamp Set is absolutely beautiful and enchanting. You can simply use it as is. The trailing of the vines look so amazing and realistic.
However, you know that I like to
make things complicated teak things, I thought to add a some sunshine peeking out!

Sometimes you just have to give it a go and experiment. At worst, it will just be
a botched project that no one will ever have to know = you have nothing to lose!

About adding that peeks of sunshine: I took a circle die cut and used the positive and negative side as masks and inked up the sun with various Distress Oxide (Cracking Campfire, Mustard Seed, Barn Door).

This is the beauty of Distress Oxide...they blend seamlessly.
Last but not the least, I did a clear coat of embossing, this ensure the stamped vines will stay true to their colors and you can add background colors!

Once I finished stamping the scene and sentiment, I framed the image with Stackers Die. This Die makes everything looks neat and tidy. I am pleased with the result and am glad that I decided to "add some sunshine"! Thanks for stopping by!
