Watercoloring with Distress Oxide

 Hello friends!

I am sharing a simple water-colored card with you. Water-coloring doesn't have require anything fancy. You can simply watercolor the stamped images with Distress Ink or Distress Oxide Ink. Any water-based inks will work.

This Sweet Centerpiece is perfect for simple coloring. All you need is a nice small brush and you are good to go. I used Canson Watercolor Cardstock.

I started and ended with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I love the outlines as I can stamp and re-stamp if necessary.

This time, I paid more attention to the shading and color hues. There is always room for improvement, of course.

This image is just enough to add details. I re-stamped some of the floral details after coloring.

For the final touches, I added a few sequins and a piece of vellum across the vase.  Hope you have a delightful Easter weekend.
